I just rented Beowulf, which I didn't realize wasn't a motion picture in the traditional sense. I guess we could say it's heavily digitally enhanced. It runs long a few places but was was pretty good overall. Anyway... it reminded me of the movie 300 (also digitally enhanced) and then I saw this question on another site... who would win in the fight between Beowulf and King Leonidas? It was pretty good. I thought it was going to be live action but it's not. I'm not sure how to describe it. I guess CGI'ed is what it is. Ya know, funny thing is that I rented the one with real people and didn't find it nearly as interesting as this one. Shrug!

I actually loved that 2005 movie. and I want a keyboard that big, that would be very cool! and another side note, who now misses the 80's after watching that, lol.

Did anyone ever see the Bizzare from D12 offering verses on tracks for $750.00 video? I would love to see that one. It got deleted from the origonal source. I will find some funny ones. People I know always share theres with me.

On this heels of this incident.... Burning Tanker Spills Oil in Waters off Perth The bow of a burning oil tanker tore loose early today off Australia's western coast, dumping an estimated 2.9 million gallons of light crude oil into the Indian Ocean, officials said. Capt. Richard Purkiss, chairman of the Western Australia state committee on fighting oil pollution, said the 210-foot Greek-registered tanker, the Kirki, was still afloat and efforts were being made to remove the remaining oil. The spill occurred about 125 miles north of Perth and 18 miles west of the fishing town of Cervantes. The oil slick was reported to be more than seven miles long and almost a mile wide. The spill was estimated at 2.9 million gallons. By comparison, the Exxon Valdez spill of March 1989 dumped 10.9 million gallons of crude oil. The Kirki was sailing from Saudi Arabia to the western Australian port of Fremantle when the fire broke out. Helicopters rescued the ship's 37 crew members before the bow tore loose, rupturing the forward storage tanks. Here's an interview with one of the local politicians trying to reassure the Aussies that this isn't a common occurrence and they shouldn't be alarmed. Hmm... Well, as I'm sure you've all hear the terrible ... terrible ... news... *rolling eyes* ... Guy Richie and Madonna are kapoots! The news of it reminded me of one of my most favorite short movies. Curiously, it stars Madonna and was directed by Guy Richie. It's freakin' hilarious!!! |
